2008 Tax Calendar

We have highlighted major dates that may affect your income tax return for your convenience.  As we progress through the year and continue to update and maintain the site, the calendar will change accordingly to best inform you.

January 2, 2008

The 2006 income tax return season officially begins.

January 31, 2008

Your W-2 is due from your employer(s). Please see our What to Bring section for more information on W-2's, 1099 statements and other important tax documents that you may need in order to correctly file your income tax return.

April 15, 2007

2006 income tax return filing deadline.

If you are unable to meet the deadline, you can get an automatic six-month extension to file your return.  With the extension, you must now file your tax return by October 15, 2008.

Last day to set up or make a 2007 tax deductible IRA contribution, regardless if you file for an extension.  H1 Tax Services Corp. is licensed to provide you with last minute 2007 IRA contribution opportunities to save your tax dollars.  Please contact us for details.

October 15, 2007

Last day to file your 2007 income tax return electronically.  After this date, you may only mail a paper copy to the IRS.
